“Reading Adds Color to Our World!” Dress Up Days

Monday, March 2 - Red or Pink Tuesday, March 3 - Yellow or Orange Wednesday, March 4- Blue or Green Thursday, March 5- Black or Purple Friday, March 6 - Tie Dye or your favorite bright colors!

Stuffed Animal Sleepover- Students may (if they wish) drop off one stuffed animal in the library to spend the night reading a good book. Pick up will be the following AM. Please write your student’s initials and grade on the stuffed animal using masking or painter’s tape.

Monday, March 16 - 3 & 4 Grade Students Tuesday, March 17 - 2nd Grade Students Wednesday, March 18 - 1st Grade Students Thursday, March 19 - Kindergarten Students

Reading BINGO- At home! Students who complete the reading bingo board (see back of page) at home and return their signed sheet by March 31st will be entered in a drawing to win a spring book fair gift card and other goodies. The reading done for the bingo board can also count towards Silverwood reading minutes!

Reading Fun at School You’ve Been Booked!- Classrooms will be surprised with a bag of books with stories and folktales from around the world. They’ll choose 1-2 books to read before passing it on and surprising the next classroom! Reading and a story walk with buddy classrooms. Get caught reading! Guest readers from the middle school!
